nb Stella - Day 14

CHESTER - BEESTON
We climbed up the five locks out of Chester in glorious sunshine

Wonky roundhouse halfway up the flight

This time we took the time to walk up to Christleton which is a very nice village. We found these unusual tombstones in the graveyard (where else?). Drink in the Ring O'Bells.

Late afternoon we called in to the new Tattenhall marina which is very new and has superb facilities, but not many moored boats yet!

(For Stella owners - we had a chat with Andrew Cooley while we were there)

Finally we moored outside The Shady Oak pub in Beeston and had an excellent meal.
