We took the Dazzle Ferry to Birkenhead.

The ferry is painted in the same way ships were painted in WW1 to make them difficult for the enemy to target them

Seven Terracotta Warriors

Here are all seven of the warriors on display.

I should have made a note of which is which - there's an archer and a chariot driver at least!

Terracotta Warriors

The reason for our quest to reach Liverpool was to see the Terracotta Warriors exhibition that we had bought tickets to go and see...

We knew they only had a few of the warriors (obviously!) so thought it would be a fairly small exhibition - it was HUGE

This was a funeral chariot which toured China for rather a long time. It was followed by a chariot of rotting fish to mask the smell of the corpse!
