Stratford-on-Avon
We went to 'New Place' which had recently reopened with a marvellous new garden and indoor display area. New Place was Shakespeare's final home in Stratford on Avon

They didn't make coffins here, just the 'furniture', linings and shrouds which were sold directly to the undertakers.
This is the stamp room and in the foreground you can see one of the 'drop stamps'

Coffin Works - Clocking On/Off
This was our excellent guide showing us the 'clocking in' machine.
I think I just got in on time at 11:59 but it was a very short shift if I clocked out at 1:26!
