To the Plume of Feathers for our third pint and a very good lunch indeed

Stafford Museum

The museum is right in the main street and certainly worth visiting
 

The displays are all very well presented

We took advantage of another ticket offer from London Midland trains and went to Stafford from Hemel Hempstead.
These are some almshouses on the way from the station to the town centre.

Trip Up The Shard

A few weeks ago, we went to London to take a trip to the top of The Shard.

As we got towards Caen to catch the ferry, we were glad we had left enough time to visit Pegasus Bridge and the cafe which was the first place to be liberated at the end of the war
