This is Benington Lordship garden at Benington near Stevenage.
We went to see the annual display of snowdrops a few weeks ago.

Went on a 'special offer' train trip to Colchester recently.
Maybe I was lazy, or maybe there wasn't much to photograph, but I thought this ruin was splendid.

Eel Pie Island

Last year we went to Eel Pie Island in the Thames at Twickenham.
Years ago it was a famous music venue.

This is what it looks like now.
It's actually a fascinating artists colony which has two open days a year - otherwise it's a private island.
