Leaving Heathrow
We arrived early in the day and couldn't get in to our hotel room just yet so we headed for the waterfront and took a boat trip
Spectacular
The haze is due to smoke from illegal forest fires in Indonesia.
It was quite alarming as we came in to land as we could smell burning in the aeroplane cabin - which is not good news usually but it must have been as we came through the smoke layer in the atmosphere
The architects seem to be trying to outdo one another?

Hi John glad to see you have started your holiday blog photos look good even though a bit to much smoke certainly impressive can't wait until we get to down under!!
