Thames cable car - the flight

As with the British Airways London Eye, Emirates Airline call the trip 'a flight'.

Thames Cable Car

On Monday we went on the Emirates cable car across the Thames.
Excellent - and only £3.60 with your Oyster card.
As you can see, the weather wasn't great as it was raining very slightly. The impressive thing was that there was a man leathering off the windows of each car before it started its next trip!

Malvern Spring Show 1

After leaving our hotel we came home via the RHS Malvern Spring Show.
The weather wasn't great but we were appropriately dressed so it was OK.
Here are some of the show gardens...

Westbury Court Garden 2

I forgot to mention that the garden is owned by the National Trust.

This is the Evergreen or Holm Oak which was planted around 1600.

I wonder how old these fungi are?

Westbury Court garden 1

As I mentioned in the last post, these gardens were spectacular!

I can't remember the numbers - but they have very few gardeners here!

Ross-on-Wye 3

This is a wonderful shop front in the town

We stayed at Glewstone House Hotel - at Glewstone!
The 10 of us had a remarkably good stay in this very comfortable and welcoming hotel.
Nothing was too much trouble for our excellent hosts.

We visited Westbury Court Garden which is owned by the National Trust.
It was a rather damp day, but the gardens were superb - as you will see shortly...

This is the view from the entrance building above.
