Holiday Property Bond - Askrigg

Off to Yorkshire this time, with HPB

Quite tight for manoeuvring the car - and small parking spaces too.
We had to park in the village on our first night.

Poppy's Birthday

That pussy cat in the blog header would have been 20 years old today! Happy Birthday Poppy. She was my constant companion during the first years of my retirement, hardly leaving my side, and lap - and I still miss her. Things move on...

Holiday Property Bond (HPB) Henllys

From South Wales we travelled to Anglesey to Henllys - another HPB property, this time near Beaumaris

It has its own excellent golf course, although we didn't play.
(We used the bowls green though!)

St.David's Cathedral

Since the 6th century there has been a church on this site.  For the past 1500 years prayer and worship has been offered to God on a daily basis which continues to this day.
In this Cathedral we strive to keep the faith which Christ and his apostles taught, to be joyful in our expression of the gospel message to the hundreds of thousands of visitors and pilgrims who come to this Cathedral every year and I hope that this website will show you some of the little things we do day by day to honour God and St David who founded this Cathedral.
