Redbourn Museum - Medieval Mayhem

Our last museum event was Medieval Mayhem to commemorate the 'trouble' between our neighbouring village of Flamstead with the good people of Redbourn in 1383.
Flamstead tried to claim full grazing rights on our common!

Here a contingent from Flamstead arrive

Bringing their troublesome sheep...

A tug of war ensued to sort out the problem between Flamstead...

And Redbourn - who won the battle 2 -0

In the evening we went to an evening of film music hosted by Mark Kermode

Silver trays for the interval drinks - they're posh in Birmingham

Mark Kermode and Jeremy Irons

We were moored right here in the middle of all the nightlife - great!

Apologies for the 'break in transmission' which was due to the arrival of a new computer and upgrade(?) to Windows 8

Not double beds - this is the piano store

Don't even think about it...
