The garden has progressed
Before we get to the Kennet & Avon canal holiday pictures, it's worth a look at the roses which have bloomed while we were away.

Redbourn in Steam
On Sunday, Redbourn Village Museum hosted our
7th Annual 'Redbourn in Steam' event.
Once again we were blessed with fine weather. Unfortunately, the event was the week before Fathers Day which is its usual date, as the steam engines were unable to attend due to prior commitments. This meant that the engines had trouble reaching us due to road closures around the St.Albans half marathon which was taking place.

Home again
Just back from a thoroughly enjoyable fortnight on our narrowboat on the Kenett & Avon Canal.
More to follow on that later, when I've sorted out the photographs.
Poppy was relieved to be released from the cattery and spent most of yesterday outside.

Then she spent the evening catching up with the newspapers.
